Making Your First Trade

Once you've connected your wallet, you're ready to start trading on Incentive Finance. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Choose a Market

• Visit the Claim Market page to browse available claims.

1. Buy or Sell a Claim

• Click on "Trade" to access the market of the claim you want to trade.

• Select Buy or Sell, along with the order type (Limit or Market).

• Choose the Claim Transfer Period (the duration for which you will Buy/Sell the Claim).

• The order size is fixed for the testnet.

• Monitor your limit orders on the Orders page in the Dashboard.

1. Confirm Your Transaction

• Click Confirm and approve the transaction in your wallet.

• Your claim purchase or sale will be processed immediately.

1. Monitor & Settle

• Monitor your claims on the Position page in the Dashboard.

  • This is where sellers can receive the buyer's payout and reclaim their collateral if no recovery occurs.

  • This is where buyers receive payment in the event of a funds recovery.

• Once a claim is resolved and all claimable amounts have been settled, the claim will appear on the History page in the Dashboard.
